Serendipity Mission Statement

To run Wrath of the Lich King 10 and 25 man raids at a high level of performance without sacrificing the social ties that brought us together.


General Information

Serendipity is a medium sized, experienced raiding guild. We are looking to build a good group of raiders to raid all of the Wrath of the Lich King content.

Why are we different than other guilds? The core members of Serendipity have seen the good and bad sides of casual raiding and are ready to do what it takes to be a successful progression based raiding guild.

We require a certain level of competence and class based knowledge to raid with us but we are willing to help people improve. We are not a hardcore raiding guild. We don't have raid attendance requirements. We don't tell people what spec to play.

Guild members are not required to raid but are welcome to raid as often as they like. Serendipity members who raid more often will have priority during raid selections. We intend to schedule raids 3-4 times per week. Most raids will be scheduled at 8:00PM CST (Khaz Modan server time). Additional raids will be run on an ad hoc basis when enough players are on-line.

We are taking steps to avoid the problems facing many progression based raiding guilds. The main factor determining whether or not you become a member of Serendipity is not your skill or your gear. The primary factor that determines who gets into the guild is personality. Will you fit into the fun and relaxed atmosphere we have created here? We are a group of friends who like helping each other and enjoy each others company. While we want to see end game content, we are not in it just for the gear. We raid to test ourselves against the games most difficult and challenging content and to have fun with our friends.
